A Romantic & Chic Lehigh Valley Courthouse Elopement
If you’re looking to keep your wedding day simple, chic, and authentic, then an intimate courthouse wedding might just be your dream come true! The best part about a downtown elopement is that everything you want is at your finger tips. Hungry? grab a bite. Tired? grab a coffee. Want to keep the party going? Grab a cocktail! Not to mention, from a photography perspective, any time of day looks good downtown! With so many unique pockets of light, murals & sculptures, isnpiring architecture, every alleyway and street offers a unique vignette for edgy & elevated editorial portraits and documentary storytelling.
For Jade & Caleb’s intimate courthouse wedding, downtown Allentown made for a stunning backdrop! The two had a casual first look outside the courthouse before their ceremony. Jade’s daughter escorted her, for a heartfelt & meaningful start to the day.
The Lehigh Courthouse in downtown Allentown has an intimate ceremony space with enough space for about 15 guests. Jade & Caleb said “I do” in front of their closest family members. It was sweet & simple, which is exactly what they wanted!
From there, we spent some time exploring the courthouse and downtown Allentown as we made our way to The Dime & Renaissance Hotel.
Jade & Caleb were adamant about wanting a few photos in front of Allentown’s Solider’s & Sailors Monument in the town square. Luckily for them, the golden hour sun aligns perfectly with with the statue! We simply couldn’t resist! So after having a few bites to eat, we headed out to catch the sun for 10 minutes of portraits in the streets.
Jade & Caleb’s downtown courthouse elopement was a wedding I won’t soon forget. Jade had an awesome vision for her wedding day, but ultimately it was their trust and positive energy that made creating & capturing their wedding moments feel heartfelt, creative, & fun!
