Intentional & Fun Summer Wedding in the Poconos | Stroudsmoor Inn

Megan & Christian’s romantic and intentional summer wedding in the Poconos was a dream. Leading up to their wedding day, we collaborated on a timeline that would feel relaxed and aligned with their vision. They wanted their day to feel laid back and filled with family, with a few traditional elements like their “first look” being on the aisle, with their wedding parties by their side. They even had a whole choreographed first dance that truly wow’d us all! They started their day in the cabin-like suites at Stroudsmoor Country Inn. We intentionally scheduled plenty of time for photos before the ceremony. I bopped between suites, as I captured details, candids, wedding party photos, bride and groom portraits, and even a few pre-ceremony family formals. The bride drank champagne and readied with her girls, while the groom drank white claws with the guys, and anxiously awaited the moment he would get to see his beautiful bride walking down the aisle. Liv, from Alisha Nycole & Co, styled the girl’s hair perfectly to fit Katherine Hentschel’s bridesmaid makeup look. Megan is an artist herself, so she chose to do her own makeup.. which was stunning!!

The couple ended their night with a unforgettable dance floor, energized by Appalachian Entertainment. They ended their coverage with cake cutting, and then continued to party the night away. It was a perfect wedding in the pocono mountains. Congratulations to the happy couple!
