Two sets, Two Outfits: Traditional and Moody Bridal Boudoir | Bethlehem, PA

Every bridal boudoir studio session includes two sets and two outfits. One for a more traditional bridal boudoir feel, and one just for you.

I always encourage brides to imagine what their dream boudoir vision looks like, for their second set. Maybe you’re a wild plant mama and you want to be surrounded by greenery and flooding natural light. Maybe you love color and want direct-flash, badass portraits fit for a queen on hot pink photo paper. The options are literally endless.

That first set might be for your fiancé, but that second set is all about you, and how you want to express yourself through intimate portraiture.

For her session, S. chose to keep her portraits simple with white lace and veil bridal portraits, and a moody earth-toned second set. The simplicity of her portraits emphasize her gorgeous curves and badass sensual energy. Throughout her whole session, she kept saying “I’m the worst person for boudoir - I’m kind of a tomboy.” But she was delightfully surprised when she would get glimpses at the back of my camera throughout her intimate portrait session. “Oh my god!” she would exclaim.. “I look hot!” I laughed, and continued directing her while the music played and the champagne poured. As her confidence grew, she embrace her sensuality. Her curves, her smile, and her strength. It was beautiful to watch it all unfold and to create with such an authentic and vibrant spirit.

She gifted her album to her fiancé on their wedding day, and he of course, lost his mind!

Not only did S. create the perfect gift for her new husband, but she had a blast doing it, and walked away with a treat for herself.

For me, that’s what it’s all about.. matching my client’s vision, and then going above and beyond to give them something unexpected.
